Contractor (APAC) - Group360

Objective: Contractor (APAC) will serve as a Back-end Software Developer II, who will work with Company to troubleshoot and improve current back-end applications and processes. The Contractor (APAC) will utilize their experience in programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users. The Contractor (APAC) will be focused on building a better, more efficient program and creating a better end-user experience. • Assist with the development of specifications, applications and documentation. • Perform and review systems analysis, design, programming, testing, debugging, and documentation for assigned projects and participate in process improvement. • Collaborate with Product teams and other stakeholders within Engineering teams (e.g., QA) to maintain a high standard of quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment. • Write code that meets coding standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. • Responsible for checking in code frequently to ensure integration with our test- driven CI/CD pipeline. • Build unit tests to help ensure solid workmanship. • Troubleshoot issue and work support tickets.

• 3 + years of professional experience with back-end development. • 1 - 3 years experience with Python required. Ruby/Rails experience is a plus. • Experience with Flask/PostgreSQL tech stack. • Understanding and ability to apply Git workflow. • Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, GCP) is preferred. • Understanding of application security concepts (e.g. OWASP). • The platform is built as a micro-services architecture so you will need to be familiar with the concept. • Good conversational and written English language proficiency. • Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions. • Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems. • Ability to meet deadlines. • Positive and solution-oriented mindset. • Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills • Effective communication skills to achieve consensus with peers and provide clear status updates.
