Design and develop enhancements for the platform Support and collaborate with Frontend / App developers for integrating backend APIs Deliver high quality builds with zero impact to existing customer base Contribute towards implementation of the product road map Leverage best practices to scale the platform and write clean and maintainable code Troubleshoot and provide quick resolution for critical customer facing issues Build a high quality tech team and expands the team to serve users across Southeast Asia Report directly to CEO/CTO

3+ years of hands-on experience as a backend engineer. Solid understanding of mature software development processes Proficient in building high performance web based applications Tackling ambiguous and complex situations within a fast changing environment Familiar with basic design principles and scaling web based applications Working knowledge of e-commerce applications (desirable) Technical Skills: Proficient in LAMP stack environments using Laravel framework (desirable) Intermediate to expert level experience in working with databases, MVC Basic understanding of NoSQL database (desirable) Solid foundation around REST APIs / Web Services concepts Working knowledge of GIT Exposure to AWS Services, payment gateways, Google APIs (desirable)
