JOB DESCRIPTION

A. Goals

• To gradually improve English level (mainly focused on Speaking and Writing skill) of Golden Owl’s software engineer team
• To create a supportive learning environment and engage learners’ passion.

B. Duties

• Act as a full-time English teacher for Golden Owl’s software engineer team.
• Perform teaching duties and administrative activities related to teaching (which may include extra-curricular activities).
• Prepare and deliver the daily/weekly/monthly lesson plan.
• Be responsible for lesson preparation and assessment of learners.
• Mark and provide appropriate feedback on learners’ progress..
• Manage and track the performance of learners.
• Support in non-academic English-related activities (English interview rehearsals, client meeting preparation, etc..).

* Bachelor‘s Degree (English major) from an accredited university. * Teaching qualification (CELTA/TESOL/TEFL or equivalent). * At least one year-experience in teaching General English for adults is required. * Excellent spoken and written language skills. * Personal laptop required. * Being familiar with IT knowledge and terms is a plus. * Female teachers preferred. * Holding strong confidence, excellent communication and lively presentation skills. * Must be able to commit full-time (40 hours/week, with at least 20 hours of teaching time).
