Ruby on Rails Developer

Your Responsibilities

1. Work closely with clients via Slack or WhatsApp to gather requirements and deliver quality features.
2. Develop and maintain clean, efficient Ruby on Rails code for both back-end and front-end.
3. Use tools like Trello or Jira to manage tasks and track progress.
4. Write unit tests (TDD) and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
5. Collaborate with team members to plan features, estimate timelines, and solve problems.
6. Follow Git workflows for branching, pull requests, and code merging.
7. Mentor junior developers and support team knowledge sharing.

Must have

1. 3+ years of working experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer. 
2. Experience with popular Rubygem like Devise, Sidekiq, Cancancan…
3. Good understanding of front-end languages and technologies: JavaScripts, HTML5, CSS;
4. Good understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL,...;
5. Good understanding of how to consume and create with RESTful APIs;
6. Experience in code version control tools such as Github/ Gitlab/ Bitbucket;
7. Proactive to take ownership and single-handedly handle problems if required;
8. Good English usage;

Nice to have

1. Experience with CI/CD;
2. Experience with deployment RoR applications;
3. Hands-on experience on building products from scratch;
4. Modern front-end frameworks (ReactJS, VueJS,...);
5. Good teamwork and reliability.
