Responsibilities
1. Design and build applications for the iOS/Android platform
2. Integration with back-end services
3. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
4. Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
5. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
6. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
IOS technical proficiency:
1. At least 4 years of hands-on experience iOS development
2. Proven track record with complex mobile development
3. Advanced Swift or Objective-C skills & Cocoa Touch
4. Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
5. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
6. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services (such as Firebase, LAMP, etc.)
7. Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
8. Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
9. Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
10. Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools (such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs)
11. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
12. Knack for benchmarking and optimization
13. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git, Mercurial or SVN)
14. Familiarity with continuous integration
15. Able to work with tight deadlines
16. Strong communication
Android technical proficiency:
1. At least 4 years of hands-on experience Android development
2. Proven track record with complex mobile development
3. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services (such as Firebase, LAMP, etc.)
5. Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
6. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
7. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
8. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
9. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
10. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
11. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
12. A knack for benchmarking and optimization
13. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
14. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
15. Familiarity with continuous integration
