Job Description
We are seeking a developer responsible for building a 3D game simulator for the desktop PC platform based on the Unity framework. Your primary responsibilities will be to implement game functionality translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging game.
Responsibilities
1. Implement game functionality as per communicated design
2. Translate design specification into functional game
3. Communicate with other team members to establish effective pipeline and integrate media asset
4. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
5. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
6. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
7. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Skills
1. Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management
2. Experience with 3D is important, esp. First-person driving simulator games
3. Experience with physics engine and particle systems
4. Prior experience with a well-known PC title related to a driving game is a significant as- set
5. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
6. Familiarity with current design and architectural patterns
7. Proficient knowledge of Git and Github/Bitbucket
8. Proficient in English and communication of English via Slack or Skype.
9. BSc. in Computer Science (or related degrees)
